We decided to give Tripett a try since it's an all-natural food and also has glucosamine and chondroitin added to it for joints. Our dog is only 1-1/2 years old but we want to keep him healthy. Previously we used Alpo wet food to mix with his dry food. He would eat part of his food and nibble on it the rest of the evening or finish it in the morning when it was a dry clump that I had to pry apart back to small pieces. Mixing a little Tripett with his dry food he gobbled everything down and licked the bowl clean! He already has a pretty shiny coat since we switched to grain free dry food so I'm not sure if I'll see an improvement in his coat.
