This product is not food grade. Lactic acid is commonly used as an ingredient in food manufacturing and food packaging to acidify or/and preserve the food. When you call Lactic Acid as Food Grade it should be food grade. I get suspicious and asked the manufacturer if the product can be used as an ingredient and they replied on their letterhead as follows: "Five Star Chemicals products are designed to safely and effectively brewery equipment when used as directed. This typically includes a potable water rinse or an analogous method of flushing the equipment. Our products are not designed to come into direct contact with food".If I used this product as a food ingredient and harm the people, who would be prosecuted? Me or seller or Amazon?
