My cats eat too much dry food but if I lessen the amount I put in a normal bowl, they have to chase the pieces around and it irritates their mouths and whiskers. So after looking at a lot of options, I settled on these angled holders. The bowls themselves are not slanted. As I have large siberian cats, I'd prefer the bowl be larger still but it seems okay. They would be more than satisfactory for normal sized felines. They manage to take the smaller portions easily from these bowls. I don't love the aesthetics but it's not terrible.
