It works for what I need it for. I don't use the bowls that came with it, so I can't speak on their quality, but I am sure they would do the job. I only wish the stand's legs were a little longer so it stood a little higher.It is easy to clean, and since I have messy eaters, the raised back prevents extra mess by keeping spilled food contained.Very cute and so nice for small dog or cat. Keeps the floor clean and my cat likes eating with his head up some - makes chewing better for him.Super cute looking, mat that it comes with is easy to clean, nice clean look for the bowls. Legs are easy to put on.Great hard plastic double bowl raised feeder. Other dishes for my cat fit onto the feeder.This is made surprisingly well. The bowls are substantial at almost 1 lb each. The stand and surrounded are sturdy. I was told cats prefer that their water bowl and food be in separate locations. To test that out, I put a bowl next their food like I’ve always done and also put one in a different room. Sure enough, they stopped drinking out of the one next their food. So, I wanted to get two matching bowls since I have two cats. Their food bowls are elevated/tilted so I thought their water bowls should probably be elevated as well. I am so pleased with this purchase. It arrived quickly and was packaged really well. They used a ribbed bubble wrap which I’ve never seen before. Very sturdy stuff. It seems like a quality product.my dog love it too..One of the bowls was broken in the first package. Was a simple return, and got a new set in just a few days. I wanted a food/water bowl that fit the style of my kitchen. Plus, my cat was moving around her water bowl during the day. Now she can’t move it at all! It’s very cute & study. Exactly what I was looking for.Not only is this set super cute, but it's great quality and very easy to clean. I got the set for my cat, but the food & water dishes are actually larger than I expected - you could use them for a dog also. I love this purchase!
