He was so doped up that we didn't have to worry about him getting at his incision, plus I was with him constantly. This suit helped me feel better that if he showed an interest in his incision, I could catch him before he actually licked anything. Also, I felt better that it was kept more clean than if he was cover-less.I HAVE A FEMALE DOG. SHE HAS SEVERE SKIN ALLERGIES. SHE ITCHES SO MUCH THAT SHE WOULD BLEED FROM HER WOUNDS ON HER BELLY. IT WAS SO UPSETING. VET TRIED MEDS AND WE WOULD NEED COLLAR. TO KEEP HER FROM THE WOUNDS. WHAT A PROBLEM. I BOUGHT ONE TO TRY OUT OF DESPARATION. WHEN WE RECIEVED IT. I GAVE HER A BATH ALOE IN THE WATER AND MADE HER SIT FOR A LITTLE WHILE IN THE WATER TO SOOTH THE WOUNDS, DRIED HER OFF. WAITED UNTIL SHE WAS COMPLETLY DRIED. THEN PUT ON SKIN SOOTHER CREAM BOUGHT HER AT AMAZON. PUT ON THE PAJAMA. WATCHED AND WAITED. SHE DID NOT SCATCH ONE BIT. NO PROBLEM WITH POTTY TRIP. AFTER A WEEK I WAS READY TO BATH HER AGAIN. SHE WAS HEALED COMPLETELY. VETS ARE SHOCKED. NOW NO MEDS AND NO ITCHING. I HAD TO RIGHT THIS REVIEW AND SAY THANK YOU. I AM BUYING MORE PAJAMAS. WELL WORTH THE MONEY. Has enough room so he can’t take it off.I got this for my little Shih Tzu to wear after his neutering koto make it so his Boxer big brother wouldn't help him by licking him. It works great and covers the right area while still allowing him to pee. I tried another that you have to roll up every time and he peed in it and I had to quickly change him to keep his incision clean. Not good. My puppy seems to like wearing this one, so I bought more in other colors and he will wear them for fun now. So cute!I have a 10 lbs pomchi, Phoebe. Back length 15 inches. I ordered the large. It is very comfy for her and she doesn't want to get it off. The material is soft and just stretchy enough to make it easy to put it on/off. It covers the 2 cm wound in the middle of her belly, but leaves the other parts open. I also like that it is sleeveless because she can move more freely. When she goes out to potty, I open the last snap, take her hind legs out, roll up the pj and snap it on her back. But it is not really necessary.Overall I am very satisfied with this product because it serves two purposes, but I mainly bought it for after surgery. It worked great and made recovery easier not just for Phoebe but to me as well.My dog had emergency surgery and my friend suggested this brand to wear it instead of a cone. I am so happy about this pajama. Before it arrived (Prime takes longer these days) was wearing my nephew's green onesie that was too large so this was a savior. Now my baby feels comfortable. The material is breathable and her stitches are protected from everything. It is just a tad long, and I feel she could pee on it but I take off the bottom part and fix it on her belly before taking her out. It is a very minor issue comparing to the comfort she is in for the rest of the time. I washed it twice already. It looks as new as I got it. Great pajama!
