I was skeptical when I opened the box. The harness was shrink wrapped and looked impossibly flat and small. Couldn't imagine putting my 5 lb wiggle/contortionist dog in it securely. Surprise, when I got it out of the plastic and opened it up, it looked workable. My dog easily was put into it, and was suspended without so much as a yelp. Granted, she is small, but can fight having her nails trimmed like a crazed kamikaze weasel. She was able to stretch a hind leg out far enough to reach my hand while I grasped the front paw to trim the nails. But I was still able to trim the nails, which has been nearly impossible without this harness gadget. She did not protest at all or try to wriggle in the harness before or after I grasped a paw. She seemed happy as a clam just resting in the harness. The nail clipper/file included were not state of the art, but worked fine. I would have been happy paying the price even if they weren't included. I don't know how well this item would work for a much bigger dog, but for my chi who HATES having her nails trimmed, it worked like a voodoo charm!!! Looks like it will hold up in the wash when needed in the future.I was able to put my 17# chi in hammock with no problem. As of yet, I have not been able to hang it up yet. My shower curtain is too flimsey and I have not been able to put anything together yet. I will keep searching. The product is exactly as described and I was very surprised how relaxed my pup was when I had him in it.I don’t have a pic because cutting the cats nails is stressful enough. I used this with my shower curtain. First time I put her in I didn’t make sure she was in all 4 holes so she jumped/fell out. You have to really make sure they are in you may still get resistance but it is still way easier than what I have had to go through. 5 min I was able to access all the nails no ability to bite and or scratch I tried to pet and calm her but the ability to do it quickly was well worth the priceI have an EXTREMELY fearful dog that was adopted from a hoarding situation. Her nails have always been way too long because no one (not even the Vet) can get more than a couple nails trimmed at a time. I spent only 6 minutes unpackaging the hammock, hanging my dog, trimming ALL her nails, taking her down, & rewarding her with treats! She came down happy & calm. I wish I had purchased a grooming hammock years ago!My dogs hated anyone touching their paws. Clipping nails was a nightmare that had to be done over days. Once I had them in the hammock, we were done in maybe 2 minutes each. The clippers that are supplied are much better than the ones I used before. Highly recommend these.Came in shrink wrap and looked like foil! Opened up velvet soft I think you may need some support on the legs depending on the weight of your dog. Made cutting my dogs nails and fur so much easier… she bites and tries to escape when trying to cut nails normally and with this swing she was calm and didnt squirm much.. it looked extremely comfortable and nidnt squeeze around her neck at all.. its made out of a soft fleece material and has a bit of padding to make it ultra soft .. one of the best purchase ive made for the dogs
